Many of you have noticed that GetSetUp is increasing the number of fitness classes we are offering. We love you to be both in your seat and on your feet for your GetSetUp classes! Mix between some movement classes and other classes you enjoy to keep the circulation flowing and get in your daily exercise.

Exercise is an important part of staying healthy, but you don’t have to leave your home to make sure you are getting your daily exercise in. Join the GetSetUp community to get your day started with some simple morning exercise routines that you can do right from your living room.
Balance is of great concern as we age, want to live independently and avoid falls. In this class we’ll cover some basic exercises you can do to improve your balance and flexibility. Using a chair for light support, follow along as exercise coach, Stacy, guides you through some simple exercises, strengthening the muscles we use for balance and assessing areas where your balance can use some improvement.

The core is the center of all our movements and has to be strong to support daily activities. Using only a chair and your own body weight, you’ll exercise along with exercise coach, Stacy, as she shows you some basic exercises to strengthen the muscles of your core.

Strength training is important for functional fitness, so we feel confident in everyday activities. Using a chair and some light hand weights or soup cans, you’ll exercise along with exercise coach, Stacy, as she shows you some basic exercises to strengthen your arms, shoulders, back, and, of course, your core.

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises. It may help improve one's mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent.
This active session is for those familiar with Qigong who have taken our Qigong for Beginners class. During the session, you will be led through Qigong movements as you practice the exercise.
Yoga is a practice that connects the breath, body, and mind. It uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. Yoga was developed as a spiritual practice thousands of years ago. Connect with yourself and stay healthy.
Join Healthy Lifestyle with Yoga
Come and explore yoga from the comfort of your chair. In chair yoga, yoga practices are modified so that they can be done while seated in a chair. This class is for anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of yoga...whether you are new to yoga or if you have practiced yoga before. You should make sure that you have a solid chair (no wheels) to take this class. Get moving and enjoy the health benefits of yoga!

Depending on where you live, you may have the opportunity to get outdoors safely and do some exercise. Interested in adding a new spin to your outdoor routine? Consider learning more about cycling.
Riding a bike is healthy, fun, and a low-impact form of exercise for all ages. In this beginner class, you will learn types of bikes; how to how to be fit properly for your bike; move past intimidation, think about gear; and safety first. Take this class for a spin and discover - You can do it!
Nothing makes a person smile more than swaying your hips in time with the beat. Test out your rhythm with some dancing classes to keep you on your toes.

From dancehall to calypso, afro-beat to amapiano, African and Caribbean music, dances, and styles are celebrated all over the world. So, time to celebrate in your house put your fancy footwork to the test. Join the fun and get moving.
The Hustle or line dance has many variations. This class is for beginners and will teach step-by-step how to do the Hustle line dance. It will have you on the dance floor in virtually no time.
Get moving and have some fun dancing with us. This active session is for anyone who wants to get moving in a gentle, fun way. No dance experience needed. We'll review the simple steps and put on some music to get you going.
