“Everyone deserves to live a vibrant life.”
Ravina Chandra.

Ravina Chandra

Nationality: 🇨🇦

“When I was a child, I used to look at relatives when they came to visit. Some looked happy and healthy, while others looked sad, tired and unhealthy. I always wanted to know why.”

Ravina Chandra took her childhood curiosity for health and turned it into a career. For decades she worked as a nurse and in the healthcare sector . “When I first started nursing, I remember  looking after people who were already sick and hospitalized. I thought, ‘what if I got to them just a few months before they came into the hospital? What impact would that have on their lives and their health?’”

More recently, after several years enjoying her work in a medical job, a change in her work environment proved detrimental to Ravina’s mental health, causing Ravina to retire early. She took several months to decompress, often going on walks and watching the wildlife around her. When she felt well again, Ravina got down to business doing what she always wanted to do: helping people before they needed the hospital.

In the past few years, Ravina has established her own business to “mentor older adults to connect with their purpose, boost their energy and achieve balance in their mind and body.” Her beautiful new website just went live AND she is now a multi bestselling author with two books currently published. Her first book, The Art of Senior Dating is all about helping people attract a travel companion, a trusted friend, or a romantic partner. Her second book titled, 101 Ways to Enjoy Retirement looks at unique hobbies from around the world one could start at home.

Two more books are on the way, all focused on health and wellness in older adults. “It’s never too late to improve your health. Don’t give up on living your best  life. If you’re 70, you could have 20+ years left.” She always asks people, “What do you want to change? Why not change it right now, because it is never too late to live a vibrant life.”
