GetSetUp is on a mission to help the third of the world’s population who are over 55 to learn new skills, connect with others and unlock new life experiences. Older adults have incredible knowledge to share and new mountains (literally and figuratively) to climb, but until now they haven’t had their own place to pursue their passions and continue creating, growing, and giving back.
We know older adults have so much to give and learn! We equip them to keep growing and we celebrate them.
GetSetUp learners are hungry for knowledge. We feed that hunger.
We are a virtual community where you learn with peers in a non-judgmental, supportive environment.
We are building something no one else has, it means taking risks, making mistakes, being an explorer, and being ok with it.

GetSetUp is the largest and fastest growing online community of older adults who want to learn, connect and do wonderful things. Since our founding we have grown to more than 4.6 million members around the world. The platform offers live classes taught by peers who are experts in their field, social hours hosted by community members, and special events with speakers who directly address areas of interest to older adults. Classes are taught in English, Spanish, Hindi and Mandarin. We’ve grown to over 200 employees spread across the world with core teams in the U.S., Australia, India, and more sites coming soon.

Having grown up listening to the wisdom of older adults at his father’s non-profit assisted living facility, Lawrence started GetSetUp to use his consumer internet and enterprise software background to build a community where older adults could thrive and find purpose and economic opportunity.
With a background in edtech, and former CEO of Zaya, an organization helping children in remote regions access high-quality learning tools, Neil started GetSetUp to empower older adults to teach each other new skills and to stay active and connected.
Deval Delivala was an initial investor at GetSetUp and saw its potential so joined as a co-founder. She helped start Uber in international markets for eight years and recently headed supply growth for India and started multiple initiatives such as safety, vehicle financing, and leasing business.
